Cub Scout Treasurer Description

- Collect checks and cash from registration and uniforms, the camp out and any other Cub Scouts events that involve the Pack, and then log the payments and check numbers into a spreadsheet
- Deposit any cash and checks received (China Construction Bank in Causeway Bay)
- Count the money from the monthly Pack Meeting pizza sales and any other fund raising events
- Reimburse any leaders/parents as needed
- Write checks to each den leader for den dues at the beginning of each year, as well as checks to pay for any expenses of the Pack
- Balance the account each month
- Keep expenses in check (mostly in line with prior year) in order to stay in budget and not exceed income
- Prepare a monthly financial statement that reflects income and expenses
- Maintain a binder with all of the bank statements, financial records, receipts, copies of any checks written, etc.
